Thanks for visiting the Tomato Insurance about us page.
Out of all the insurance about us pages out there on the internet, we are glad you decided to visit this one. 🙂
A little bit about this website and what we do here.
What is Tomato Insurance?
TomatoInsurance.com mainly focuses on sharing info and articles about P&C Insurance.
We are also an insurance brokerage mainly serving customers mainly in Mid-Atlantic states. However, reach out to us and we can always connect you with an ideal insurance agent for your needs.
For those that don’t know P&C insurance typically this means Auto Insurance and Home Insurance. Although it also includes any type of insurance where you are looking to protect some type of assets. This includes Cyber Insurance, Renters Insurance, Workers Compensation, Liability Insurance, etc.
Basically we talk about a lot of different types of insurance. We even have a section on health insurance.
The only type of insurance we don’t cover on this website is Medicare. Please visit our partner website MedicareMouse. We talk all about Medicare over there. Medicare is for Americans that are 65-years old or older and we feel that another website is best for that audience.
Who owns this website?
Tomato Insurance was launched by Adam, a licensed insurance agent. Adam is licensed in Life & Health as well as Property & Casualty. This means he can produce and sell any type of insurance.
Adam didn’t mean to get into insurance. He is marketer by trade.
He got his Life & Health license as part of a training for a financial advising and retirement firm that hired him for only 4 weeks. After he passed L&H test he was let go.
Odd? Yes, but at least he didn’t have to pay $400 for the insurance training and he walked out with a sparking new insurance license.
After focusing on selling health insurance and Medicare, he went out and took the P&C test and passed. This was so he could understand and sell more types of insurance.
Adam hopes you stick around and learn all about insurance.
Why write about insurance?
Something I noticed about insurance websites, they suck. Like they are really boring and stuff and don’t explain insurance concepts in simple terms.
Insurance companies do this on purpose to confuse consumers.
Coming from an SEO and Content Marketing background, I knew I could do better. That’s why I launched Tomato Insurance.
Where does the name Tomato Insurance come from?
It was a domain I saw dropping and picked up.
A lot of insurance domains and brands are taken. I liked that Tomato is an emoji too.
I need insurance, how can I contact you?
